Our organic Shea Whip is cold processed to preserve the maximum natural properties and minerals of the 100% pure unrefined shea butter. We cold whip the butter for approximately 2.5 hours on varying speeds to ensure a fluffy texture without compromising the ingredients. We do not add cheap filler oils, this is an undiluted concentrated product.

This is 100% Pure Certified Organic African Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) comes from the Shea nut tree more commonly known as the Karite tree, also known as Galam (Vitellaria paradoxa). A Karite tree can take from 20-30 years to begin to bear fruit or the nuts from which Shea Butter is made. The tree is called the “tree of life”
The chemical composition of shea butter includes a saponifiable fraction composed primarily of stearic and oleic acids, palmitic, linoleic and arachidic acids. It also believed that it has sun screening properties and acts as an emollient and skin moisturizer. Shea butter has also showed an anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.

How to Use
Melt a pea size amount of the butter between your hands and apply to your face or body. You may also mix this into homemade skin and hair care products.
In addition, you can use Shea Butter as a scalp treatment to moisturize the scalp and stimulate hair growth. It can also be used as a hair serum to tame frizzy hair and lock in moisture.
For scalp: ensure scalp is damp, then melt a small amount of shea butter in your hands, and massage into the scalp.
For a serum, dampen the hair, then melt a small amount of shea butter in your hands and scrunch it into or run it over your hair.
When not in use store Shea Butter sealed in its original packaging, or in a container such as a jar with a lid. Keep in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. If temperatures are above 75 degrees Fahrenheit, store in the fridge.
